(Cedar Rapids, Iowa) – GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation and Collabrance LLC announced today they will host four Sales Simplicity Seminars in 2016 in California and Iowa. The training will be conducted by Alex Rogers, founder of the Master IT consulting firm CharTec. The seminars are for companies ready to transition to an as-a-Service model.
“Solution Providers must move beyond just selling technology and into solving business problems,” said Greg VanDeWalker, GreatAmerica Unified Communications and IT Group Senior Vice President and General Manager. “This training helps Solution Providers profitably deliver their products and services in the way their clients want to consume technology.”
Former attendee Bryan Currier, President of Advantage Technologies talked about the impact of the training on his business. “If I can take a Hardware as a Service model, and bundle everything together, it is a far likelier scenario the customer is going to see the value of the overall solution,” said Currier. “That is the power of the CharTec methodology.”
“Several partners who implemented strategies from the Sales Simplicity Seminars are seeing instant results. They’ve improved their close ratio by overcoming objections they couldn’t in the past, and closing larger deals faster. The training showed attendees how to properly create value, kill alternatives, and justify the cost of their solution.”

Rogers says the workshops can improve the number of first appointments, and show how discovery can uncover latent challenges experienced by prospects. “The Sales Simplicity Seminars brought together very high caliber businesses ready to take their sales to the next level,” said Rogers. “Attendees were able to implement the strategies immediately with tremendous ROI.” Since founding CharTec in 2009, Rogers has helped Solution Providers close $1 million MRR deals, achieve record margins, and increase sales by 200 percent.
Collabrance, a subsidiary company of GreatAmerica Financial Services, was created in 2009 to help Service Providers gain the knowledge, personnel and resources they need to profitably scale their IT business faster and keep their customers for life.
