First thought walking into work… find the fastest route to my “vanilla chai tea latte with almond milk”. My friends at 625 Starbucks Coffee Shop, conveniently located on the first floor of the GreatAmerica Building, greet me with their smiles and ask if I’d like my usual (Yes, they spoil me!). I’ve got my fuel for the day and am now ready to power through morning emails and review the day’s calendar.

Over coffee, I sit down with a Collabrance team member to talk about career development opportunities specific to marketing and leadership. Together, we discuss his skills and compare them to his career interests. I commend him for taking charge of his future by proactively reaching out and expressing interest in new opportunities.

Collabrance Partner Jim Koch of Erb’s Technology Solutions joins us in the Cedar Rapids office to be interviewed for a video testimonial. Jim shares their story on how his business is scaling their managed services business faster with Collabrance. I have the lucky job of hearing all the wonderful things MSPs say about our partnership.

Back at my desk sitting with the sales team. Time to get some work done!

Time for a video conference call with our SEO Expert partner. In addition to SEO (search engine optimization), they help us with all things digital marketing. Today’s meeting includes advertising strategies. Calls are so much more fun staring at each other!

With social media still on the mind, I log into our LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts to monitor posts and activity. My intern and I are preparing to launch a couple social campaigns.

Every quarter our team gathers to review our performance and share ways to continue pushing the bar. It’s helpful to have everyone together in order to collaborate and think big picture.

Blogging is a regular part of my role in order to generate fresh, educational content out to the industry. I worked with one of the business units at GreatAmerica (our parent company), to cross promote a recent blog they presented on lead generation strategies. After editing and optimizing content, I am finally able to publish the blog for our readers.

In addition to lead generation for Collabrance, spreading awareness and maintaining our brand, I also prioritize our partners! In addition to monthly newsletters to our partners, this week I’m working with the team to understand what quarterly enhancements we are rolling out so I can help provide email messaging to our partners.

Making time for fun is always part of my day! I can usually be found across the street at Black Sheep Social Club with my colleagues… no special occasion necessary. Tonight, my marketing gal pals meet up for happy hour while our intern is in town. It's always a good time when we’re able to get together. We enjoy each other enough to hang out even outside of work!

Outside of work, my night is just getting started. I’m fortunate to come home to my loving family that includes my husband, 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter. While I love my job and company, nothing beats coming home to these smiles!
