The Collabrance Story
Collabrance, a GreatAmerica Company, was formed to create new revenue opportunities in the changing markets for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Faced with the prospect of growing their Managed IT Services business, office equipment, copier, telecom, MSPs, and IT providers were challenged with large cash outlays, and hiring personnel with new skill sets.
GreatAmerica provides business innovations beyond financing to help MSPs achieve greater success. In 2009, GreatAmerica launched Collabrance to help Service Providers expand their business to Managed IT Services and embark on the path of becoming a trusted technology advisor for their customers.
Collabrance and GreatAmerica now help Service Providers gain the experience, personnel, and tools to profitably scale their Managed IT Services business faster with less risk.
As the Managed IT Services industry evolves and changes, Collabrance chooses to remain a privately-held IT company, and is designed to build stronger relationships by staying involved with MSPs and provide ongoing support.

Wil Meggers, Senior Vice President of Platform Services, is responsible for the strategic vision and performance of Collabrance and the GreatAmerica platform services, including PathShare® HR Services and Portfolio Services Group.
Wil first joined GreatAmerica in 2004 as a sales representative for the Office Equipment Group. He spent 17 years with the company in various leadership roles, including General Manager of the Connected Technology Group and Vice President and Managing Director of the Office Equipment Group. In 2021, Wil left GreatAmerica to join a regional business services firm as the Director of Solutions, leading the vision and strategy for seven divisions within the organization. In 2023, Wil returned to GreatAmerica to assume his current position, guiding strategy to evolve the GreatAmerica platform and expand the company’s many offerings to our valued customers.
Wil graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Computer Science. He is a husband and father to four children and spends most of his time on youth sports fields where he enjoys coaching and helping young athletes understand what it means to be part of a team.

Hannah Erb, Director of Sales, is responsible for building the strategic vision for sales and marketing while providing business planning, education, training, and sales assistance to partners. She is also responsible for originating new partnerships for Collabrance. She was recognized as one of 2019's Women of the Channel by CRN, a brand of The Channel Company.
Hannah started at Collabrance in 2013 as a Strategic Business Advisor. In 2014, Hannah was nominated by her peers and won Rookie of the Year, and was rewarded 100% Sales Achievement Club at GreatAmerica for exceeding her FY'18 sales budget.
Hannah earned her business degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa.

Brian Wells, Director of Product Development, is responsible for the product and service offerings, as well as helping partners, team members, suppliers and stakeholders understand the program.
Prior to joining Collabrance, Brian was the Director of Information Technology for two other Eastern Iowa organizations. He started his own VAR and MSP business in 1996, and sold it in 2006.
Brian has over 30 years of experience in the IT space. He joined Collabrance as a Tier 3 Engineer before being promoted to his current role on the leadership team.

Hollie Braid, Director of Service Delivery, is responsible for unified, strategic leadership in service areas, including service activation, preventative maintenance, user support, training and quality.
Prior to joining Collabrance in 2009, Hollie started at GreatAmerica in 2006. Before working at GreatAmerica, Hollie worked in IT for Verizon. Hollie joined GreatAmerica as a member of the Service Desk. In 2007, she became the support behind the GreatAmerica FleetView product. Hollie was part of the team that launched Collabrance, and in 2011 she became the Service Team Leader.
Hollie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.

John Schroeder, Director of IT Operations, is responsible for managing internal systems support, supplier risk management, cyber security, and compliance.
Prior to joining Collabrance, John led IT teams for multiple large global companies in manufacturing, biotech, and publishing. His experience includes data center hosting, NOC and SOC management, data center and application migration projects, business continuity planning, ITIL service management, regulatory compliance, and cyber security.
John achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree majoring in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Mount Mercy University.
